The West Forsyth Wolverines football team enters the 2025 season with renewed determination and a wealth of talent. After a commendable 9-4 record in 2024, including a quarterfinal appearance in the Class 6A playoffs, the Wolverines are poised to build upon their success and make a deeper postseason run.
A significant strength for West Forsyth is the return of key players from the Class of 2026. Quarterback Max Walraven, standing at 6-foot-5, is back for his senior season after a breakout junior year where he threw for 2,131 yards and 19 touchdowns. Joining him are standout players Andrew Davis, Jack Sacchetti (U-Penn commit), and Tim Hyrbu (Cornell commit), all of whom are expected to play pivotal roles in the team’s success.
The 2-1 Wolverines have a bye week this week, and will travel to Lambert next Friday. Theme is GOLD OUT.
