West’s DECA chapter took a thrilling and educational trip to Six Flags Over Georgia for the annual DECA Fall Rally. This exciting event brought together DECA students from across the region to engage in leadership building activities, networking opportunities, and lots of fun.
The DECA Fall Rally is designed to motivate and prepare students for the upcoming competitive DECA season while offering a chance to bond outside the classroom. West Forsyth students arrived at Six Flags eager to participate in workshops, team building exercises, and strategic planning sessions, all aimed at sharpening their business and marketing skills.
In between sessions, students enjoyed the amusement park’s rides and attractions, making the experience both rewarding and memorable. The combination of education and entertainment helped foster a strong sense of camaraderie among West Forsyth’s DECA members.
“Our students not only gained valuable insights and skills for their DECA competitions but also created lasting friendships and unforgettable memories,” said Coach Boone, a West DECA advisor. “Events like these highlight the balance of hard work and fun that DECA represents.”
